Welcome to "Room 3" of our National Exhibition Gallery which features more of those
marquetry
pieces that only just missed out from getting into the 2008 main gallery.
Although the entries for each page or room of this gallery are indeed, randomly drawn,
there is a slight theme to this page - it is that all the selections have been chosen
because they are all applied pieces, in other words, they are primarily a piece of furniture
(or an object) that has had a marquetry design applied as a decorative element.
